Meet The Nice Lady

Hello Readers,

In my books, you know me as the Nice Lady. Although Nick will tell you I am a very Nice Lady, in the world outside the books, my family and friends know me as Linda.

When I was a young girl growing up, I loved animals of all kinds and was always concerned if they were getting the love and care they needed. To help the cause of unfortunate animals, my sister, a mutual friend of ours, and I, raised money by having a carnival and haunted house in our backyard! We donated all the money we raised to The Humane Society so that care and food would be given to furry friends in need.

I never had a fondness for dolls, but loved my stuffed animals!!! So when I played “house”, I called it “Bunny House” and the children in my house were naturally my stuffed animals.

When growing up, my family always had pets. I remember our first dog, Fluffy. I didn’t get to know her very well for she passed away while I was still very young. Our next pet was Peanut, a little, long-haired mutt dog. I remember the day my Dad brought her home and from there, we had many wonderful years with her.

It wasn’t until I became a teenager that I started to experience the joy of cats as pets. Over a period of time, there were many cats that were a part of my life. There was Sampson, Natasha, Nikki, Evett, and Amanda. Back then, what I loved most about cats was they seemed to have a mind of their own, and yet for being so independent, they were always warm and loving companions.

When I became an adult, I found myself looking for someone to be my family. If you have read book one in the Importance of Family Series titled “How I Found My Family”, then you know how it all started with me and Nick.

How I Found My Family is a true story as is most of what Nick the Wise Old Cat shares with his readers. We have been together since that Thanksgiving Eve, 12 years ago. He truly is my family and I couldn’t imagine life without him!!!

Nick is so easy going. He loves to ride in the car and of course, for safety reasons, he sits in his carrier cage! He has packed his bags and moved three different times with me. One of the moves took us out of state, but whether in state or out, we always made each move an adventure!

We now live in Michigan where Nick enjoys a wonderful back yard during the summer months, and during the snowy months of winter, you can find him inside, curled up in front of the fireplace .

Having Nick in my life has been such a blessing. He has so much love in his heart. I am sure you will feel the love he has to offer when you read our books.

Thanks for letting me share us with you.
